Yosemite National Park Has A Few Dangerous Trails

Yosemite National Park is one of the most beautiful and most iconic parks in the entire United States of America. The sheer granite cliffs that drop off into Yosemite valley are breathtaking to look at, and the trails that lead up to the top rank among the most amazing hikes on planet earth. When visiting Yosemite National Park many people wonder if the hiking trails are dangerous. While there are some trails such as Half Dome and Upper Yosemite Falls that have serious hazards along the trail, as long as you use common sense and take your time while wearing the proper hiking gear there is no reason to worry about injuring yourself in Yosemite Park. Perhaps the most important part of staying safe during your hikes in Yosemite Park is having a basic preparation plan in place. Be sure to bring plenty of water, snacks, proper hiking boots, and always have a flashlight and set turn around time. It's easy to get in over your head when hiking the steep granite cliffs in Yosemite National Park, especially if you are taking on one of the more challenging hikes such as Half Dome trail or Upper Yosemite Falls trail.
